The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Russell Seth Harvey as Chief Executive Officer of the Company with immediate effect.

Russell has over 30 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas business. A graduate of Imperial College he started his career with Phillips Petroleum and has held executive positions with Kerr McGee, Lasmo North Sea where he was Managing Director and Bitech Petroleum as CEO. Latterly he was instrumental in the building of Intrepid Energy, a private start-up company which was sold for over US$1billion in 2004. Russell has extensive international experience and has been involved in the oil and gas industry around the world including the UK, USA, Norway, the Middle East, Russia and the CIS. Russell is a director of Harvey Oil & Gas Ltd.

Commenting on the appointment Alan Henderson, Non-executive Chairman of Forum said:

Russell replaces David Robinson who has resigned as a director of Forum to pursue other business interests. David leaves the Company with immediate effect.
