The Company announces that it received notification on 18 October 2006 that on 12 October 2006 FEC Resources Inc. (“FEC”) had a notifiable interest in 9,886,000 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company, representing 34.62% of the issued share capital of the Company.

This represents the entire holding of FEC in the issued share capital of the Company.
